Only those who find life, find treasures.

Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist

For 6 weeks we will be operating in a safe space for people to discuss the wellbeing and future of men like you or the men you care about. This course is open to anyone who is comfortable with holding that space.

Men hold a lot of power and men carry a lot of uncertainty. Men hold a lot of privilege, which can be confusing because so many of us are just trying to get by. Often times, our attempts to get by include committing to producing wealth for the sake of wealth rather than producing it for the sake of what we truly want and care about. Sometimes wealth creation is about satisfying a relationship with a partner or parent or it’s about closing a wound with a parent or past relationship. It’s about fear. Happy wife, happy life, anyone?

By joining this course, you will gain insight into how you are valuable as you are, right now, and how achieving your dreams will offer a level of satisfaction you’ve never experienced.

Who would you be if you weren’t fixing, serving, or providing?

Who is this course for?

  • If you feel you’re carrying this burden that no one else can see.
  • If your relationships follow the same old pattern.
  • If you want more from your life than the escalator from birth to retirement or you’re just so far off the escalator you don’t know what is next.
  • If the cycle of work, home, and monotony is something you just do rather than what you look forward to.
  • If you feel as if people will miss you more for what you do for them than for who you are.

Then this course is for you!

“I bounced around between highs and lows. I was stuck in the same patterns of work and relationships. Now I’m more accepting of myself and believe in myself more. Dave has tools to help you get beyond the things that you are putting in your own way.”

– Tris Hussey (www.trishussey.com)

Through Power, Pleasure, and Healing You Will:

  • Be introduced new ways to see yourself as a complete human.
  • Receive you insight into where you are showing up as you, showing up as society’s expectations of you, and showing up as you who’s been hurt before.
  • Be given tools to hold space for yourself and others by being deeply present.
  • Receive 2 hours direct support in terms of coaching.
  • Receive access to an exclusive Facebook group for members only.

Dave has an uncanny ability to take a problem and turn it on it’s side making you realize perhaps it wasn’t a problem, rather just the way you were looking at it. Dave provides great balance giving us often a better prospective.

If you have questions about this, concerns about this, or special considerations that make a space safe for you, I welcome connecting. You can contact me here.

Who is Dave?

I began my journey of healing as a teenager. I knew I had wounds that I treated the best I could as a child, but I didn’t understand them. I always felt like less than a man – awkward, uncomfortable, unlikable, unlovable. At the age of 6 I knew in my heart that no one would ever love me unless I did important things for them and for the world – I could earn something like love and be tolerated over time because of the stuff I did in the world.

I did a lot of therapy from the ages of 12 to 30, but got very little value. It wasn’t the practitioners, but I wasn’t ready. At 34, I became a dad and my wounds were all opened up a little bit at a time until my entire being was consumed by them. I was depressed, often drunk, eventually unable to work. My life was my shame.

I built a team to support me that included doctors, therapists, and coaches. My journey to wellness has included a deep exploration and awareness of being a man in the modern world, toxic masculinity, and the lack of resources available to men in need of support.

I have brought my journey, my resources, and my experience as a coach, facilitator and leader to bring you a course of considerations, awarenesses, places to look, and breakthroughs in your own power, pleasure and healing.

My son hugs his friend
and blows him a kiss goodbye.

His father unpacks
the masculinity
in his throat:

“You don’t know kisses to little boys.”

My son responds
gently, a sky
still intact in his mouth:

“I just wanted to love him.”

His soft words harden
and travel down into his fists.
This is how a boy learns to fight
his own heart.
